Whispering Pines

In February Jason and I took a trip up to the Arizona mountains with Gwen, Andy and the kids. We rented a little cabin at Whispering Pines and enjoyed a weekend in the snow. We got there Friday afternoon and the kids were so excited to get out and play in the snow. We'd only been there 10 minutes and there was already a snowball fight in full swing. That night we headed over to some of Andy's friends for dinner and game night.











































Saturday we got up and grabbed our sleds and headed to the hills. We were pretty impressed with the girls courage especially Grace who went down the hill numerous times by herself. Everyone took turns sledding. It was a perfect day for it and we had a blast. There were a few wipeouts....Andy, but no one got hurt.
















































































That night we met the whole group our for BBQ. So good after a long day of sledding. Ava got passed around the whole night....everyone loves her. After dinner we had another game night where I again was Pirate Dice Champ!!! Sunday we got up and packed the car and drove home. It was a great little getaway and some good fun time with the girls.
