Weekend in Phoenix

This past weekend Jas and I went to AZ to visit with Mom and see Gwen and Andy and the girls before they head off to Korea. We got to spend a lot of time with the girls and had a lot of fun. However, I'm growing more and more annoyed at Grace's growing affection for Jason over me. haha. We BBQ'ed and took walks and played games all weekend. Sunday Jason left and I went to spend some time at Wendy and Andy's house. I got to sleep in Grace's room and wake up every morning to her playing with her dolls and other animals....that girl has quite the imagination. Monday Mom and Gwen and I got to do the F-16 simulator. That was so much fun. Gwen and I had quite a time blowing each other up. Sadly I left on Tuesday knowing I probably won't see the girls till February. Grace has given me an open invitation to come visit her in Korea and stay in her room. :)

The Big Move.

What a weekend. Jason and I are so tired and sore form moving. We have most things unpacked....just not put away yet. I came up with the brilliant idea Friday night that I wanted to paint one of the walls in the apt before we moved in. I have never done anything like this before, or had an urge to do anything like this so I'm not sure what came over me. It was a lot of work but I think it was worth it. Jason and I like the color and and it def makes the place look better. There were a few other hiccups on Saturday but we finally got everything in. I'm hoping we can get it all done before New York on Thursday. We've been so busy unpacking that we've hardly had time to enjoy the view. So far we really like it. Yesterday we walked to Whole Foods to get some lunch and snacks. It's going to be really nice to have so many things within walking distance. As soon as the place looks a little better I'll give you some before and afters.

And we're off.....

So about two months ago my sister started a blog so that we could all keep up with her once she and the family left for Korea. So to make sure she gets to keep up with us, I am starting a blog as well. Jason and I just got married and are now moving to downtown so things are pretty exciting for us too. I'll try to update as much as possilbe. Enjoy!
